By accessing or using EzClip (ezclip.tv), you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. The service
EzClip is a SaaS tool that processes video you upload, identifies moments, and returns short-form clips in 9:16. The free Reframe tool and the paid AI Clipper have different limits.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK).
- You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You’re responsible for all activity on your account.
3. Subscriptions and credits
- The Pro plan is $19.99/month with 300 credits (1 credit = 1 minute of processed video).
- New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. You’ll be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
- Credits reset monthly and don’t roll over. One-time credit packs are additive and don’t expire.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the current period.
4. Your content and content rights
“Your content” means any video you upload to EzClip, any video URL you submit for processing (e.g. YouTube or other hosted source), and any output clips we return to you.
- You retain ownership of the videos you bring to EzClip and the clips we produce from them.
- Rights and permissions. You represent and warrant that, for every video you upload, link, or process on EzClip, you own it outright or have secured all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions — including rights to any underlying footage, music, voiceover, brand assets, and to the likeness and voice of every identifiable person appearing in it. You will not upload or submit any content that you do not have the legal right to use, modify, and distribute as short-form clips.
- Third-party platforms.Submitting a URL from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform is your responsibility. You confirm that downloading, processing, and reusing that content does not violate that platform’s terms or the rightsholder’s rights.
- License to us. You grant EzClip a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to ingest, transcode, store, analyze, edit, and deliver your content solely to operate the service and produce the output clips you request. This license ends when we delete the content.
- Indemnity.If a rightsholder, platform, or third party brings a claim because of content you uploaded or submitted, you’re responsible for defending and resolving that claim, and you’ll reimburse us for any losses we incur because of it.
- We may remove content and suspend accounts when we receive a credible infringement or rights complaint, including DMCA notices.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use EzClip to:
- Upload, link to, or process content you don’t have the rights to — including pirated content, leaked footage, or other people’s videos you didn’t license.
- Upload content that’s illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
- Use the service to impersonate someone, deceive viewers, or create non-consensual deepfakes.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
- Circumvent credit limits or abuse the free tier.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with no refund of subscription fees or credits.
6. Availability
We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Processing times depend on third-party compute and can vary.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may not always match your expectations — credits used for unsuccessful AI runs are refunded per our refund policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes to the service or terms
We may modify the service or these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
10. Refunds and cancellation
Subscription. You can cancel your Pro subscription any time from Settings. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Because the service is consumed as you use it, we don’t refund partial months. If you were charged in error, email us within 7 days of the charge.
Free trial. You won’t be charged during the 3-day trial. Cancel any time before day 3 to avoid any charge.
Credit packs. One-time credit pack purchases are non-refundable once credits are added to your account. Unused credits don’t expire and remain available as long as your account is active.
Credit refunds on failed jobs. If an AI Clipper job fails due to a system error on our end, credits are automatically refunded. If the AI can’t find clips matching your prompt, credits are refunded.
Disputes. Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us — we can usually resolve issues faster directly.
